Why Fidela

An advisor in your corner

A captive agent can only offer you what one company sells. We are independent, so the conversation starts with your situation and ends with whichever carrier fits it best.

The difference in practice

Independent, not captive

We are not tied to a single company. We shop the market and represent you, so the recommendation is always about your best fit.

Multiple carriers, one review

We compare trusted carriers side by side so the coverage and the pricing both line up with what you actually need.

Guidance through the fine print

Policies are full of exclusions and limits. We translate them into plain language so you know exactly what you are buying.

Licensed in CA & Texas

A local, licensed advisor you can reach directly — and who stays accountable after the policy is bound.

What to expect

No jargon, no pressure, no disappearing act

Most people meet their agent once and never hear from them again. We would rather check in each renewal, because what you own and what you owe changes over time — and the policy should change with it.

  • Quotes from several carriers, compared line by line.
  • Exclusions and limits explained before you commit.
  • Licensed in California (#4052049) and Texas (#3316577).
  • A person who answers the phone when you call.

FAQ

Questions about working with us

What is the difference between an independent broker and a captive agent?

A captive agent represents one insurance company and can only offer what that company sells. We are independent, so we place coverage through a range of carriers and the recommendation starts with your situation rather than with a single company's product list.

Does going through a broker cost more than buying direct?

Generally no. Broker compensation is built into the premium the carrier sets, so the same policy is not usually cheaper because you bought it yourself. What changes is that someone compares the options for you and stays accountable for the result afterwards.

Which insurance companies do you place coverage with?

We work with a range of carriers rather than a single company, and the right one depends on what is being insured. Tell us what you are protecting and we will tell you which markets fit it and why.

Can you handle my personal and my business insurance together?

Yes, and that is usually the point. When home, auto, life and the business policies sit with one advisor, the gaps between them are visible. When they are spread across four companies, nobody is looking at the seams.

Are you licensed in my state?

Fidela Insurance Advisory is licensed in California, license #4052049, and in Texas, license #3316577. We place coverage for families and businesses in both states.

What do you need from me to start a review?

A phone call or an email is enough to begin. If you have your current declarations pages, send those over: they show exactly what you carry today, which makes the comparison concrete rather than hypothetical. There is no form to fill in, and nothing is bound until you say so.
